Rihanna Lifts Restraining Order Against Chris Brown Ahead Of Grammys

The 'S&M' singer was approached about putting a stop on the restraining order nearly two years after it was first put in place, but on the condition that Breezy doesn't molest or harass her.

As long as the 'Champion' singer, who is on course to score two singles in the UK's top five this weekend, will now be able to legally contact RiRi but is barred from doing anything threatening towards her.

According to reports, the restraining order has been reduced to a level one and has also been modified by a judge.

The 'Yeah 3x' singer appeared in a Los Angeles court just two weeks ago for a progress hearing where his lawyer, Mark Geragos, asked for the restraining order to be lifted.

It wasn't immediately granted as Judge Schnegg instructed that he would be contacting Rihanna's lawyer, David Etra, in order to get approval, reports MailOnline.

Previously Brown was not able to go within 100 yards of the 'Only Girl (In The World) singer, or 10 yards if they were attending the same industry event.

But now the former couple are likely to both attend this weekend's Grammy Awards, where they are both nominated for awards.

Despite the change, Breezy will still remain on probation for five years.
